What is a dot?
It is a question that has been asked since the dawn of man, the answer of which has been speculated about by historians, mathematicians, clergymen and artists for eons... Not really. A dot is something your pen makes when it pokes your paper, if it has ink. Just like a pixel on a computer screen, or maybe a peg on a lite-brite, or some other useful metaphor, dots are effective when used in large amounts to create images. As artists interested in making art with dots, it is our job to figure out 1. What kinds of images we can make with dots. 2. How we can make those images out of said dots, and 3. How can we make said images out of said dots with style. "We're not looking for some haphazard group of goofy dots, we're searching for the good-looking group of dots that (create beautiful fades, forms, and lines). Herein is the purpose of this eBook.

The book has some very good tips and info on pointillism but it's very, very short. If it was a printed book, I'd say it was no more than 10 pages. I know it says vol 1, but I would think they could've got a lot more in.Product details

Pretty good tool.
great ideas in this little book
Horrible format makes it uselees for kindle. Returning for refund. Not sure why kindle was used for this type of book.
